This is definitely a pickup that will help the offense. Frost was regarded as one of the best shooters of the 2025 class and was a top 100 prospect on both ESPN and 247Sports. With the Middlesex Magic, Frost led the UAA in three point shooting, knocking down 45% of his attempts on good volume. He has good length and does have the ability to drive the ball to the basket to keep defenses honest. If you're wondering why he didn't play more, it's because of the defensive side of the ball (and he was also just a freshman). Frost was a step slow at times when guarding his man in the ACC, but perhaps moving down a level will make things easier for him. He certainly has the frame/general strength to hold up well there. I guess this is effectively the replacement for Garrett on the team? This pickup definitely continues the general trend of CC going after guys who are a certain height which will help with switching on defense.

Welcome to GW Ryder! Looking forward to seeing you splash threes all season long.
