Always love seeing a local DC commit to GW. Lindo shot the ball extremely well in limited time this past year and definitely proved to be more deserving of playing time - it was just that he was playing behind a ton of talented guys on a fairly loaded and talented Terrapin team. We recruited him out of HS as well (as did JC at MSM, so the familiarity definitely helped), where he was regarded as a three-star recruit and #7 in DC according to 247Sports. There was a nice post article last year that does a good job of describing Lindo's progression during his time at Maryland. He seems by all accounts a really good kid and constant learner. I think this will prove to be a very good and somewhat underrated pickup once he's eligible.

Welcome Ricky! Glad you made the right decision to stay close to home and play for the Buff and Blue.
