Yuta and the Raptors play the Brooklyn Nets tonight at 7:30 on ESPN

Just turned on the game and thought it was pretty cool to see Yuta on offense being covered by Kevin Durant. That's got to be a pretty surreal feeling for him.

Went up against Jeff Green. Closest we’ve come to a GW/Georgetown battle royale since the 80’s.

For those of you in the D.C. area, the Raptors play the Wizards tonight at 7 on NBC Sports Washington

Alas,Yuta's ankle sprain comes back. Happened before with Memphis.
Just on the night we could watch the game easily.
Yuta's breakout has been our one piece of luck in this cursed year.
Hope it doesn't derail his upward trajectory. Sounds like it could be day to day from initial reports. Let's hope he is better soon.
Recall the ankle injury started after Mojo left him in during the waning minutes of a clearly losing A10 tournament game.
Could have cost his NBA shot, but fortunately he recovered for training camp.

It's a shame because I was really looking forward to seeing Yuta get lots of minutes against a terrible Wizards team. Hoping for a quick recovery.
JF, agree with everything you said above except for we are now in our 5th "cursed season" after winning the only post season championship in school history! And we are unfortunately looking at several more years of misery before we have another chance to blow this thing up and start from scratch.

Yuta returned to action tonight with 6 minutes of play. Didn’t take any shots but did have two rebounds and a block.

Dang, this really sent GW basketball back another 5-years

I saw Anthony Edwards dunk all over social media, but I had no idea that it was on Yuta until GW0509 posted the pic!! At least the Raptors got the win

And the next thing that will happen is we will lose to Hampton, UMBC, Delaware, William & Mary and Charlotte in the same season.

what's that old saying, bad publicity is better than no publicity?

In that case,GW, both the team and the university, has done well.
Yuta will be fine as long as the ankle holds out.
But his teammates need to give him the ball in scoring position.

My take on the photo...a GW alum playing in an NBA game. Notwithstanding the dunk, Yutas defense has him in the NBA and playing every game. But damn, I wish that dunk was over someone else.

The Raptors are about to play the 76ers on League Pass. This is the last day League Pass will be free

Good info that is good for Yuta’s chances of staying up with the Raptors even if they make some trades or if he’s not playing well, or often.

Not sure Yuta would agree as they probably would've had to sign him to a full deal without this rule change.

That's fair, but would they have? Toronto is actively trying to bring in players via trade since they're playing so well. I'm sure you're right, but it would appear to give him leverage for the future regardless.
