Festivities kicked off today and (aside from giving too much on-camera time to SJT, Knapp and LeBlanc) I thought the opening ceremony via video was very well done. Perhaps the only quibble is no mention (that I saw) of Red Auerbach or Tuffy Leemans or Elana Meyers in the rather abreviated distinguished alumni section. I have lived in countries that are still yet to celebrate their bicentennials, so this is a big deal.
