Lots to complain about this season, but today is not one of those days. Inspired effort no matter the result today.

We needed to do some quick subs with what we have, even for 30 seconds before timeout,to get some rest.

One highlight of today has to be Bishop passes.

The announcer keeps mentioning how fatigued GW is(he cites GW's shots coming up short on their last couple of attempts), let's see if they can keep this close or win it in the final 6 minutes

Really like what we've seen of Lindo so far. Does the little things, too

Liking our 17 to 10 assist to turnover ratio.

I like the emergence of Brown in this game, Moyer and Paar being out has given him the opportunity to show his potential

Always thought he was raw,but had real prospects.

Wow!

What a way to close out this game on a 13/14-2 run!

What a great win.

Wow! A 15-2 run to win.

We came back.Great effort!

Too bad we only have 2 games left before tournament.

The announcer was wrong, it was Rhode Island who looked fatigued in the last minutes. GW ends the game on a 15-2 to win 78-70. Bishop and Battle combine for 54 of the 78 points. Bishop scores a career-high 28 points!! It's was good to see Moyer on the bench in street clothes when you consider the last image I saw of him was in a hospital bed.

Does this count as JC "making adjustments" down the stretch?

For the record, GW is UNDEFEATED in the Biden Administration.
What a nice, pleasant surprise win. Certainly not what I would have expected from a 3-9 team that lost to Hampton and Fordham and had been "on hiatus" for 35 days, but I will take it. Of course, that nixes any hope (short of winning the conference tourney) that URI had of getting a bid (sad trombone).

Really weird seeing the huge games played disparity in the standings.
A10 needs to factor us in if they took games away from us we could have had.

Fantastic win, huge games from Bishop and Battle.
28 points for Bishop on 14 shots, 25 for Battle on 15.
Amazing to comeback from a layoff that long, that sharp.

About the standings, they mentioned that winning % will determine the seeds in the A-10 tournament, so GW is now in 10th place(avoids the play-in round) at 3-3 with the win, Rhode Island drops to 11th at 7-9. George Mason and Duquesne are both 6-6, GW has a shot to finish ahead of them in 8th place. I'm assuming the A-10 will schedule a George Mason-GW game because of the rivalry
