Would be hard to censor. You can see why they don't want to acknowledge the biggest triumph by far in recent GW basketball history.
Again, the NIT title and ML were mentioned (including pictures) during the official athletic department zoom event this week. Not "censored" or written out of the story. Sure, ML was not an honoured guest invited to speak at the event and his portrait does not dominate the quad (a la Mao in Tiannanmen Square), so maybe that meets your standard for "censorship"...

And so closes another topic for getting off-topic. I'll take the last post on this one:
It was an outstanding accomplishment that GW won the NIT. I am of the thought that winning it was as good a feeling for GW as making it to the Sweet 16. Was it as good as that time we'll make the Final Four someday? No.
