1. The Gonzaga dynasty rolls on, at #1 in the way too early top 25. The Zags have the best returning player and the best incoming Freshman to hold on to the #1 pre-season spot.
2. The Bonnies come in at #22
3. A10 stars have transferred out are all over this list, Kellan Grady, Tre Mitchell, Fatts Russell etc etc

Gonzaga coached by "America's Best Coach" is once again the preseason darlings. You'd think that they should win a national championship when coached by "America's Best Coach" and being the pre-season favorites. Seems like a lethal combination or alternatively either the coaching or the talent isn't what some here think it is lol.

Cogent point Bo Knows Seats.
What a great dissapointment he's proven to be, taking a little program from Spokane WA to National Title games and perenially the best/nearly best team in America. He got the #1 player in America the #1 team in America, nearly went wire to wire undefeated #1 all year lost most of the team and still #1! we....well we "are pocketing the roster spot!" how fortunate.
Those 3 big A10 transfers is news to me, particularly Kellan Grady to Kentucky. when did that happen??

Just out of curiosity when did Gonzaga have the best team in America? Please cite the year.
With the number one player in America and "America's Best Coach" seems like a lock for the national championship this year just like the past few lol.
Grady committed to Kentucky only about 3 months ago. Fatts to Maryland in mid-April and Tre Mitchell to Texas about 2 weeks ago . Seems like you missed a lot..

Villanova checks in at #2
Duke 13th UNC 20th
A real realignment of the sport in the last 5+ years, the rise of the the Zags, Villanova, Baylor etc and the decline of the powerhouse Blue Bloods
Gonzaga has a starting 5 that look more like something Cal would have rolled out 8 years ago:Projected starting lineup:Nolan Hickman (No. 22 in ESPN 100)
Andrew Nembhard (9.1 PPG)
Hunter Sallis (No. 14 in ESPN 100)
Chet Holmgren (No. 1 in ESPN 100)
Drew Timme (19.0 PPG)

Sure seems better to make 22 straight NCCA tourney trips and multiple NCAA Championship games than, you know, folding towels with the 16 year olds at the local gym
Can't recall an exodus of A10 talent quite like this. Haven't seen what's incoming, but I suspect a lot of talent coming in as well

A little school from rural WA, won more NCAA Tourney games last year alone, 5 NCAA tourney wins, than GW has in its entire history 4 games.
The question is , does a huge transfer environment push talent to the biggest programs? it sure seems that way, and is that a lasting change or temporary based on the events of the last 15 months.
Question #2, have the Bonnies now taken the top program in the A10 spot?

Perfect... then go root for the Zags and leave us supporters of this vastly inferior program alone. With "America's Best Coach" and lots of talent you can fanboy them. I am certain they will enjoy your contributions to their message board lol.

Wait a minute, you mean Gonzaga has had a more successful college basketball program than GW?
The things you learn here.
