I remember not only the Syracuse game which was quite exciting on TV, but the first time we saw Koul.
It was an exhibition game, presumably with the Belarus national team, when he played Yinka even.
Must have been the start of Yinka's sophomore and alas, his last year.
Don't think Koul had the Dolph Lundgren look then, but Yinka didn't intimidate over overpower him, like he often did.

After Koul's sophomore year, the Sporting News ranked him as the third best NBA prospect in college. I feel really bad that he never came out early.
