ESPN Box score has no Assists for Bishop, 2-7 overall FTs

FT is the last thing we need to be worried about.  We’ve actually shot well from the line this season.  That said, it’s sucked today at 2-7 - but I’d much rather play like this and shoot 5-7 rather than shoot well, but play like crap like the season so far.

On assists, the team has 6 on 16 made baskets.  Not good enough, but today we are scoring with our athleticism by rising up and hitting shots (and putbacks) over defenders inside of 6 feet.  Those are shots we’ve not been hitting the last three games (and down the stretch vs STFU).

Up 38-28 at the half.  Could really use a strong start to the second to keep the confidence up.

Not bad. Of course, WSU is getting reamed in the locker room right now and adjusting its gameplan. Maybe our rinky-dink program just feels more at ease playing in a rinky-dink gym.

Just when it started to look like we were unraveling, when beginning with about 3 minutes left in the half and Wright State having shaved a few points off our lead, we turned it around and held tough at the end, going in with a 10 point lead.   Please, please, please don't give it all back by the first media timeout in the second half.    If there was any issue as to how minutes should be shared between Dean and Brown, if the first half of this game was any indication, I don't think there is any question as to who gets it.     Within the first 30 seconds he was in the game, he already had more defensive rebounds (2) than Brown had the last 2 games combined (1).   

Wondering if JC was stupid enough to start Brown for second half. Yep. Bad.

Refs just literally gave Wright St 2 free points.   Ref called basket interference, but somehow gave them two points, even though it was Wright st that interfered with the ball on the rim, not Ricky (who was on the weak side for the rebound).

But what a response. 

Wow.  We are playing well.  Keep it up.  Lindo missed a three, dean gets the rebound and throws it out to Lindo who makes a three with no hesitation, and then Dean gets a steal and a dunk with great flare (legs out).  Lindo pump fakes a three, then drives and dunks on someone. Lindo finds Bamasile for big dunk underneath. Then Joey Bam gets a steal, gets it to Bishop and takes off, and Bishipn hits him for a windmill dunk.

Not real comfortable with the 5 on the court right now.
