After the first time out, when we were up 11-3 we fell back into bad habits.  Scored just 9 points over about 14 and a half minutes.   We came up empty on 13 out of 17 possessions in thst span, resorting to one on one play or bad shots. 


Defensively we were a bit more loose, though you have to tip the hat to Sullenger, who had not scored in their first two games, but scored 7 in the first half, and Dj Johnson, who had 7 points in their first two games, but 9 in the half.

I think our bench will have to do something to match them for us to win this - would be nice to Harris look for his offense. Ever since his late misses against STFU, he has barely even attempted to score.

Down by 13 again. 

Bishop got a great look on the first possession off a pass, but it didn’t go down.  Then we give up a three point play and then Bishop dribbles off his foot.  Then another turnover.

Now 0 points in our first 3 possessions of the half.

Yet another total dud coming out of the half. It’s almost impossible for a team to be this consistently bad coming out of the half.  Has to be a mental thing.

Halftime adjustments….or lack thereof….yet again

We take a timeout and then get a 5 seconf call.  SMDH.

(Though seemed to be a very quick 5 second  count).

I know it isn't true, but it looks like they are just not trying that hard on the Court.

Kent has a good coach.

I don’t think it’s lack of effort. I think it’s lack of coaching.  That last turnover came when Bam dribbled into traffic while the other 4 guys stood and watched.   

We have scored 3 times in 8 possessions to start the half (with 4 turnovers).   The scary thing is I’m not sure any of the 3 we scored on were good shots. Bam hit a very deep 3 thst is a low percentage shot for him (at least it was wide open on a nice pass from Freeman), Bam scored on a trough move, and Bishop hit a 17nfoot pull up. 


And now we give up a 4 point play. Ugh.
