Unless I'm missing something, that Davidson win is the best of the year for the A10.
I mentioned Iowa State a few weeks ago, I believe when they were 7-0. This program was 2-22 last season. Top 7 in the rotation are 6 transfers and a freshman point guard. Somehow, they had enough time to learn to play together. Story of the year so far in college basketball as far as I'm concerned.
Don't count on it, but wouldn't it be something if Hopkins was fired at Washington, just in time to accept the Syracuse position after Boeheim retires, which was supposed to be his several seasons ago to begin with?
Am very happy to have Brayon, but JNJ at the point with James at the 2 would also have been something to see.
Thanks dmvpiranha for that Utah state clip. I'd venture to say that this might be the only made shot from beyond halfcourt with over 5 minutes remaining in a half. As was noted in the comments, the scorekeeper initially only gave the team two points, rather than three, likely due to how stunning a play it as.

Will the Syracuse fans/alums even accept Mike Hopkins at this point, given his poor record at Washington?
Dayton beating Kansas is the best win for the A-10, but Davidson beating Alabama is a close 2nd!! Even though, St. Bonaventure has been a big disappointment, the conference has a number of wins over BCS schools.
A huge development for the A-10 and OOC play as George Mason has agreed to play at Wisconsin tomorrow afternoon on the Big 10 Network. It looks like Wisconsin had 1 or 2 teams back out due to COVID and George Mason stepped in and agreed to play them at the last minute. There's been a lot of discussion about GW's questionable OOC schedule, maybe GW should consider finding a BCS opponent to see what progress they've REALLY made as they get ready for St. Bonaventure on December 30th. I didn't comment on the thread about GW's "strength" of schedule, but the likes of Radford, Coppin State, UMass-Lowell, Boston U and Kent State isn't preparing you for anything other than getting shell-shocked when you start playing legit teams!!

Indeed. Though it could help prepare you for losing, if we don't turn things around.
Good info and insight.

Hard to imagine anything more pathetic, than crying about re-scheduling some GW basketball games, with a variant spreading like wildfire, during a pandemic that has killed more than 5.4 Million people.

Kansas smoking Nevada by 25 midway in the second half right now. Mason better have a brilliant game plan.

Great game tonight between 2 of the best Coaches in the country's teams, Ed Cooley vs Willard
Providence edged Seton Hall in a battle of 1 loss, top 20 teams. Each guy has done a great job for a decade at places that had struggled to win for many years before their arrival

With all the postponements(especially with A-10 teams) it's surprising when games are actually played at this point, St.Joe's and Richmond are about to tip off on NBC Sports Washington. Brown is also playing at Maryland right now on the Big 10 Network

Richmond getting a whoopin' from St. Joe's.
Moody is getting the at-large destroying loss out of the way early this year.

Fordham and St. Joe's are atop the A-10, just as everyone predicted.
