I am loving the ads for St Louis. (full disclosure, my grandmother was born and raised in St Louis, left at age 18 to NEVER return! My great-grandfather went to Washington U). Merry-go-rounds and ferris wheels as attractions to get you downtown? Want to know what attractions are nearby to the GW campus? Forget the ads, just look at the court they are playing on. Then again, they probably are more learned on grain silos in St Louis than we are.
As for the game, lots of sloppy play, lots of offensive possessions of standing around the perimeter until the shot clock runs down and a wild shot gets chucked up, the lack of interior defense is aided by SLU´s inability to make a shot in the paint and there is no stopping the open looks outside. Coming out of a timeout to get a 5 second violation pretty much sums up why this team causes us so much anguish.

Not sure I'm built to endure the slow, sloppy drip of this second half.

Why does Dean keep hanging out at the top of the key, especially after success inside vs. URI?

Anyone else notice how while Brendan Adams was battling for that board and ripped out, basically everyone just stood there watching while SLU went hard for the loose ball?
Not the first time today they’ve just outhustled us for a loose ball.

To take their shot blocker away from the rim?

To not clog up the middle for our drivers?

Could be. Then I guess the others should be driving to the basket…

No need for complex analysis on this one. St. Louis is just a better team.

Doesn’t seem to be working.

Mason beats Bona, further enhancing our at large bid

Hey covergirls!

3 of our starters have not scored 24 minutes into the game. That’s just a wee bit of a problem.
(Though our bench has outscored theirs 6-0)

We have seen far too many games like this one over the past 5 years.

They’re pounding us for sure but these announcers are the worst homers I’ve ever heard. Even the few times we do something good, they ignore it and talk about SLU soccer or something

St. L has only 3 turnovers.

I am not sensing a repeat of the "Kingston Magic" tonight. When was the last time GW won a game outside of the Eastern time zone?

No excuse for not hustling back on defense.

Maybe pay some attention to that guy?
