The last time we were at the top of the A10 pecking order was 2006 so not sure that is a reasonable standard.  

EDIT: I could be convinced 13-14 we were also top tier A-10 team but that's twice in the last 16 years.  I'd say 5th in the A-10 is probably where we should be hoping to get back to.

Holding them to 80% from the field, 70% from the 3.  Surprised we are down.

I understand LSF, but it’s down to talent and the disparity is too great to get upset today. Remember GW hasn’t been together as a team for even a season.

The real problem is How  the freak does GW begin to recruit AND retain the kind of players Dayton has?

Glad proven D1 player Knapp can't crack this effective line-up.

At this point it's all about matchups.  The reason we could stay in it vs. Davidson and getting blown out vs. Dayton is they play completely different styles of basketball.  Our strengths are completely neutralized by Dayton.

Also I think Dayton has objectively way more talent on paper than Davidson, they're just young and have lost some stinkers.

FYI...I took GW getting 7.5 in first half.  Not spending that money yet.

Difference between Dayton and Davidson is toughness, size, and athletes for Dayton. Davidson has great coach and a system that he finds players that work in it. GW can’t compete with Dayton’s of the world when you really have 5 max high major athletes, less quickness, little size, and debatable toughness. Dayton announcer is all over GW effort, or lack of effort.
