One of the challenges of the old board was that old discussions would continue to see comments, even though their relevance was gone.  I have started to close topics for further comments to avoid board users from missing comments that may be important but are in the wrong place (or in a place where nobody will look).

For example, I have closed the discussions from the three games in the recent tournament.  Anything that may be relevant in the future can go in new topics or future game discussions.  That does not mean the discussion cannot be viewed (it can); it just means nothing new.
