Bishop 2-9. He needs to calm down. Freeman with 4 turnovers. Too big of a lead. Hope we come out strong in second.

This is like a good murder mystery. I believe Duquesne will somehow make this a game, but for the life of me, I can't see how.
I doubt anyone keeps this statistic, but what do you think the consecutive games record is for a player committing a foul within his first minute of playing time? And, do you think that Ricky Lindo now has this record?

What a great half, FANTASTIC defense, our team staple.
offensively, most games we remain a work in progress - we're +14 at the half in a game we're 'dogs on the road

Seemed to me like they got out to a big lead within a few minutes and figured they could just coast for the rest of the game. Duquesne has been abysmal offensively but we need to do something to prevent them from having so much success on the offensive boards and in the paint.

Jump shots. Like to see more paint work

For everyone saying Dambrot deserves some slack, if this were DuqHoops.com I can guarantee everyone would be calling for him to get fired.
His saving grace is that he signed a 7 year deal so it would be a bigger buyout than normal.

The 1962 Mets? The 1976 Buccaneers? The 2021-22 Duques?
Discuss among yourselves...

This Duquesne offensive performance is actually kind of impressive in the worst way possible

More than 25 minutes into the game and still no points outside the paint for Duquesne other than one free throw. Absolultely incredible. I would like to say holding a team to 23 ponts in over 25 minutes is a tribute to our defense, and to a certain extent it is, but come on now...Duquesne has missed 38 of the 49 shots they took, and many of them were good, open looks.

Also this is exactly the start to a second half we've been waiting for from GW. 11-4 to start with FTs coming up from Freeman.

And finally a Duquesne 3, making them 1-14 for the game.

Bam likes the spotlight. But cut out the bad turnovers.

I guess it's progress when we're being critical of our team while being up 26.

Just popped over to the thread. Comical amount of complaining I the first half, it looks like.
I am shocked by how bad Duquesne’s transition defense is. Their transition defense is worse than that done we played early last year, and I don’t say that lightly.
Fun to watch our team be able to do literally anything they want.

Lindo, 7 rebounds in 13 min. of action.

Brown does not take a back seat to anyone in terms of committing a foul within his first minute into the game.

A little rest. Little bench time. Little mercy?

Still 30 of 34 Duquesne points in the paint.

Do the refs hate Lindo for some reason?

I do feel bad for him. He clearly doesn't get the benefit of the doubt on defense. It also seems to affect him on offense when the calls aren't going his way.
