The play by play girl just called Ron Thompson "coach." Almost lost my lunch.
Great point.
Spawn of Satan seems, like many announcers to have our number,i.e. our guards don't mind jocking it up even after numerous misses, though he couches kept in meaningless banter, trying to make it a plus.

Coach somewhat animated during TO

Defense much better with Dean and Brown both sitting

Mason without Oduro is 3-16 for a total of 8 points.

We breathe around Oduro and it's a foul. 9 points from the FT line with a number of those being soft calls.

OK. Good half. Or at least good final 4 minutes

LSF, Oduro is a first team all league player and the leading scorer in conference games.

Tough crowd today! I for one am very happy with a 5 point halftime lead on the road.

I'm very happy with the 5 point lead at half. Mason should be up by a decent amount based on the number of soft foul calls, offensive rebounds, and the ability to get anything they want in the post. Hoping for the best but not exactly confident based on what I've seen so far. More than happy to be proven wrong

Hopefully the refs look at the score sheet and see fouls are 12-4 or whatever. That second foul on Lindo looked when we got the stop up 30-24 looked like a horrible call.
Still, we are playing good defense (only Oduro is hurting us) and we’ve got the lead without much from Joe or James.
Need to stay aggressive and keep guarding the crap out of the perimeter and we’ll have a chance.

They do seem to be getting a number of tickytack calls. Ricky was quite upset at one.
The Brayon one as the guy was bringing the ball up court, even Ronnie T noticed.

The only thing better than being up at the half is being up at the half and the first highlights shown during halftime is of That School Down the Street losing.

I’m at the game and while Mason was not sharp, our defense is working very hard on and off the ball—giving help on Oduro as much as possible without also conceding too many open shots from the rest of their team. The fouls are 10-4 so we’ve had to battle that as well.
Offense still doesn’t have a ton of flow with a lot of one-on-one play, but a solid first half for our squad.

You have to figure Bishop will heat up at some point in the second half.

I've figured he's going to heat up for the past four games and it's yet to happen. But like you said, surely he'll shake off the funk some time soon

Dean and Bishop remain hideous, yet we still lead

Can we have someone at least near the boards when we take long, low percentage shots?

Mason is stunned by swing from Bam 3 poointers. Good. Hope they stay that way.

Didn’t Joe Bam get hit on his shooting elbow? At the top of the key with no one around him so it’s easy to see?
