We're making Oduro into a lottery pick

Bishop gets game ball…for Mason.

You can't go scoreless 5 minutes at any point in the game. You especially can't do it in the last 5 minutes of a close game

Bam too much for Bam at end. Even Ronny saw Bishop was open.

Agree. Offense went into panic mode after that miss where we could’ve taken the lead

Feels just like the Davidson game. Just don’t know how to win close games yet.

When you are 3-15, maybe let someone else shoot. Make that 3-16

GMU ended game with 13-0 run

Not going to win when Bishop is 3-17 and Dean, Samuels and Brown combine for 2 points.

13-0 run by Mason to end the game. Yuck!

Look the drought at the end of the game was killer, but didn’t Bishop’s off arm get yanked on his last missed layup.

A part of me feels like a whiner for saying this but the Mason was getting allllll the homecooking from the refs today.

This game was lost on the Offensive side of the ball and certainly being outscored 13-0 on the final 526.
But they did not generate a lot of good looks in the half court for most of this game. In crunch time nothing fell and no whistles. Would like to see that 3-shot foul call on Ricky as well

Getting closed out 13-0, after doing enough well for 35 minutes, hurts

Yeah, but that’s pretty common on the road, and it was consistent throughout. The reason we lost is because we still don’t know how to finish close games.

Second half lead blown
Mason´s Oduro was great
JC got outcoached.
The haiku only covers part of it, but that was an 8-point second half lead turned in to a loss. After keeping players in foul trouble on the bench as the Davidson game slipped away, JC exposed Lindo tonight and he got an early exit. Some bullshit offensive sets in the final 90 seconds, including a 5 on 3 with no passes made and a prayer hastily heaved up when down only three (and this by a team that is supposed to be at its best in transition!). The team that played smarter down the stretch won.

Absolutely but home jobs have been the A10 way since the Eastern Eight. Looks like our conference record will be 8-9, which is a ton better than they looked early January. Still this stings

Good points,Haiku and analysis.
Live by the bad shot, impressive when it goes in,die by the turnovers trying to do big things too much/bad shots not falling at the close of the game.
Need to share the ball more,a constant weakness.
Ineffective inside on D,but most of the game we at least tried hard in defense, so that's a plus in a game we gave away.

Very winnable game and would've been great for seeding purposes. Hard to win games when you shoot 33% and give up 16 offensive rebounds. Boy do we really need an inside option. Has killed us all season and tonight was no difference. Oduro is a very good player but we made him look like a top 10 draft pick out there.
Still, have to applaud the teams defense throughout most of the game. Tough pill to swallow but we move on. Win our final 2 games and we're still in a good place.
