Not to worry people here any further, but reports about third country nationals, particularly of colour, trying to get out of Ukraine are not encouraging. Apparently niether the Ukranians want to allow them to go nor do the Poles want to let them in (and who knows about Hungary and Maldova). From BBC

Thinking about Mo often and praying for his imminent return to America.

I believe Mo is either out or on his way out based on his Twitter post this morning. Let's hope that's the case.

Approximately 3 plus hours ago, Mo posted a tweet that said, "Glory To God" and reposted someone else's tweet that said he was in a car on his way to Ukraine's border to try to leave.
Would caution that this is a moving situation, there have been false starts before, and heading to the border doesn't guarantee safety en route. But this is a very good day to attempt this, assuming Mo has some knowledge of who is driving him.
Indiana fans have been all over this in support of Mo.
Mo is strong, but is or was not in a very good area. There have been some attacks by missile/artillery that struck civilian shops and literally a battle for the city, which the Ukranians seemed to have repulsed. So this would be really welcome news if correct.
His retweet seems a positive indication, though radio silence publicly might be better in this case. Let's all hope for Mo's successful evacuation and hearing that he is out.

Very trying times. No one would have expected this insanity. So very happy Mo is home.

Can't describe how happy I was to see this. The local news picked up the story and footage.
And on a far more minor note, allow me to extend my middle finger to WJLA/ABC7 who actually said "the University of Maryland's Mo Creek." For real.

Should be the University of Maryland's owner Mo Creek.

For those of you with access to the Athletic, David Aldridge has a story about Mo Creeks escape from Ukraine.I have not read it yet, but wanted to post it here quickly.

Am unsure if you'll be able to read this without a subscription. If you can't, please subscribe and read even if it's with a free trial. Like many of you, I had conjured up thoughts and images in my mind as to what Mo was going through. Then, you read an article like this and better understand the horror that Mo endured. There is also great information that was not widely known (I won't give anything away but if for example, you were wondering why Mo hadn't left Ukraine earlier, this is answered in the article). Seriously, please find a way to read this. I read it two hours ago and my mind is still blown away.

GREAT article! Shows how shady some of those euro league owners really are. Mike Hall has said similar things.
Also cool to read Mo and Mojo remain so close to this day.

Can anyone post the text? I don't think I need another subscription
