Bolden...a classic example of what a difference coaching makes in player development.

We are taking some *ahem* inadvisable shots.

I don't see really any difference in Bolden from when he was with us. He always had a good midrange game. He is benefitting from not having to be the #1 option on offense.

Is our defense really that poor? South Carolina is currently 7-8 from the field. We have 5 more shots and yet have only made 2 baskets...

If there is an offensive game plan, it is not apparent to me. We only have 2 field goals in 8 minutes and one was off of a steal.

South Carolina 19 (Bolden 8), GW 4. We have no clue. Pass the ball around a little and then take a 3-pt shot as the clock runs out.

But after the game, we will hear Christian say how much we are improving and how proud he is of the team.

2-15 from field, 0-6 from the 3. No excuse for that.

The difference in coaching is that Jair has lost the insane shot and is actually making good shots this year.
Armel has still his poor, crazy circus layup attempts that don t work much of the time, especially against better teams.
Don't think Armel's game is JC s fault, but he is not turning in an impressive coaching performance, either

I'm not sure if ESPN stat tracker is accurate, but as of the 9:54 mark we have 4 OREB and 1 DREB. Is that right? If so, that's crazy

We seemed to be in a zone, and it almost resulted in a turnover.

The cameraman felt it would be cruel and unusual punishment to see that 3 point attempt from JNJ.

Potter can't play against this level of competition

Armel's stupid circus shot is actually defended into an air ball by Jair. We're screwed when even Jair clamps down on defense.

Also Lurch not even breaking a sweat in the coaching box

Is JNJ playing much? In my opinion, this is the kind of game where you throw him out there just to get experience of playing against better competition. Who cares if he turns it over 10 times.

Not a trace of an offensive game plan

He came in and just started chucking up 3's. Camera caught JC talking to him after he took a crazy long 3 pointer. Hopefully he calms down and realizes we need to get better shots.

at least the women are up to 26-10 over winless Coppin State.

Potter and Jack a combined 0-11 from field. Time to go to plan "b".
