Stanford is taking it to Oklahoma! 
Tyrell Terry is also having a huge Freshman year.

Wouldnt be shocked if we have an all a-10 freshman on the team by the end of the season. Certainly can't complain that the freshman arent getting enough playing time. 

I could see an All Freshman team for Jamison Battle too.

He's going to get a lot of run this year and he's going to make a ton of 3s the stroke is so pure, the release high and quick.  Boards appear to be trending up, he has good hands, and for a Freshman, solid bulk.

If he stays 4 years would have to think the all time GW 3 point record is in play.  Who currently holds it, Shawnta?

I'm Ok with Jameson being a designated three point option.  He has good size and has already displayed an ability to get his shot off.  I love the fact that he shoots confidently.  A player who comes to mind is Pat Carroll from St. Joe' s who played with Jameer Sr. and was a key contributor primarily due to his ability to sink 3's.  As you suggest, Jameson is already a willing rebounder on the defensive end.  Hard to assess his defense right now but like anyone else, I hope it will improve as he gains experience.  I believe he will continue to get his shot off against better competition largely due to the way we play.  We will continue to push the ball when we can and Jameson will likely be taking many 3's early in a possession, before the defense has a chance to get organized.  Many of us watched as  Nemanja Mikic attempted to be a more versatile player and in the end, that's not who he was.  Jameson should capitalize on what he does best, his outside shooting.
