In the announcement for Caputo, they mentioned something about getting more resources to him, which is great. Someone mentioned that GW has the biggest endowment in the A-10 and most alumni giving, but is pretty far down when it comes to expenditures on basketball and salaries. I was trying to find some stats for that and came across a few articles. If anybody else has similar info, please share!
Men's basketball budgets:
1. Dayton: $8,212,991
2. Saint Louis: $7,207,705
3. VCU: $6,721,809
4. Duquesne: $5,859,182
5. Richmond: $4,897,831
6. Fordham: $4,860,790
7. George Mason: $4,725,888
8. Saint Joseph’s: $4,424,092
9. Loyola Chicago: $4,412,586 (becomes A-10 member July 1)
10. Rhode Island: $4,345,286
11. Massachusetts: $4,302,474
12. George Washington: $4,261,344
13. St. Bonaventure: $3,850,362
14. Davidson: $3,488,697
15. La Salle: $3,146,557
Endowments:
A-10 sports by revenue (not sure where this data is from, but seems to say GW makes $6 million on basketball)

After clicking around im surprised to see we earn $6MM from hoops and $2.4MM from soccer... can anyone verify??
Also surprised to learn that GWU is now 37% male to 63% female - no more excuses for not scoring!

Doesn't seem that much out of line with all but the top 4 spenders in the conference.

If those sites are correct, GW is a damn piker!
