Gentlemen (and ladies, if any of you fit that description), I am taking a necessary hiatus from active management of the site. My business has a project that is taking me about 90-100 hours per week, through the end of October. While I'm happy to do the work, I am not able to adequately monitor the site and am certainly not reading most posts.
If you have a problem with the site, with the vitriol that surfaces from time to time, or with anything that requires my attention, please send me a message. I try to check the site daily for a few minutes, but cannot always do so.
In the mean time, please continue to be respectful of each other (and if you're not currently respectful, why not?) My goal is to be an active board user and manager by the time we hit November 1.
Thanks.
Barry

Thanks Barry. Good luck with your project.

To The Dude: It is disrespectful to continue to bring up Mike Lonergan within the context of how or why he was disnissed, all these years later. It is disrespectful to do so directly, indirectly, or passive-aggressively. It is disrespectful to continue to use words like abuse, abusive, disgrace, disgraced, scandal, etc. when describing ML. I'd venture to say that everyone on this site knows how you feel about this subject. Continuing to either build threads around this or interject your viewpoint in an unprovoked manner either suggests that you are a bit obsessed with the man or your purpose in doing so is to antagonize people here who you know have a different take on this.
So quite respectfully, I am asking you to show some restraint. If your interests are truly to gain respect on this board and have others similarly respect you, you'll please stop doing this. The man lost his job and in essence, his coaching career. He really needn't be kicked in the face by you or anyone six years later.
Let's get the Caputo era off to a good start, at least on this site.

Not a big on censorship especially on a vital topic, but a little self-restraint and as always, the bounds
of common decency, won't hurt.
Barry should be able to concentrate on his business without worrying about us. This month and always.

Board Members:I understand completely your desire that the Dude should have a change of heart and
respect the norms here. How likely is this to happen? Not likely!So-therefore everyone else needs to
change their behavior.PLEASE stop responding. Why anyone gives him airtime is beyond me.Stop reasoning.
Stop scolding.Stop all communication. If Barry won’t ban him that is the only viable approach at this time
I know it’s difficult to do this -but it’s the most promising way of dealing with him.

Sounds like you got your proiorities a bit screwed up Barry? Choosing work over being our playground monitor? I don't get it.
