Big plus of being on a New York contender team he'll be on National TV a lot

And as long as Brooklyn doesn't do anything crazy before roster deadline--or Yuta's contract
is guaranteed for the year, great news!

I only watched a few possessions with Yuta on the floor. Defense was definitely the differentiator. He's so good at defending the point and making quick adjustments.
Offensively, he looked like the 4th/5th option

So, Yuta Watanabe is now on a non-guaranteed minimum deal that would become fully guaranteed if he is still on the roster through January 10.
Thanks for the clarification. So he's got more proving to do but so far so good.

ESPN tonight, 730. (also ESPN+) Good news is that Yuta's getting minutes. So if you tune in, should see him.
The Nets bench is pretty weak so that should bode well for his chances to get more minutes

Yuta and The Nets are on NBA TV right now.
Two Yuta 3s have spurred a Nets comeback, he's +9 on the game, had the best +/- last night on the team too.

I just turned on the Mavs-Nets game and saw that Yuta was playing in the final minutes of a close game. Is he part of the rotation now? I assumed he only got in when the game is a blowout, its good to see him playing meaningful minutes. He's also in as they start the OT

Nets have a lot of injuries to the bench but he provided a spark and earned those minutes

Yuta got back in after David Duke Jr. fouled out guarding Luka. Having said that they appeared to trust him guarding Luka (who had 41), so that says something
