We hopefully know much more about this team than we did in early November.  Pick the game moving forward that you feel will be GW's biggest surprise this season.  Positive, favorable surprises only, please.

I'll start by suggesting that GW wins its home game against Richmond this season.  The Spiders are off to a sizzling start this season (9-1 with the lone loss against an undefeated Auburn team).  Blake Francis could be the conference's most impactful transfer.  After years and years of watching their lightning quick guards drive by our defenders (Anthony, Jones, Lindsay, Anderson, Fore), Richmond strikes me as a more perimeter focused team this season.  Gilyard can still drive and dish as well as anyone but Golden, Sherod (back from injury and a real difference maker) and Francis can all stroke the three.  Given GW's success at limiting three point attempts and baskets, I think we can match up well in this area and pull off an upset.  Could happen on the road but the better chance is obviously at home.
