The volleyball team has won their last five games.
Two against Duquesne:
One against Mason:
("GW volleyball won three straight sets to earn a five-set victory at George Mason on Tuesday night, 22-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-13.")

And two against Saint Louis:
("For the second-straight match, GW volleyball won three-straight sets to clinch a 3-2 victory.")

So the team has finished the regular season 17-14 overall and 11-7 in conference play. They have won the last three out of four matches!
They play St. Louis in the first round of the A10 Championship today at 2 PM Eastern!!!!

Somewhat of a big upset overall in the A10 championship match as the newly admitted Loyola Ramblers defeated the Dayton Flyers in four sets. --Dayton, as most people know, has pretty much owned the championship for many years.
Loyola was the team that beat us (in five sets) in the semi-finals.
I didn't even realize it, but Loyola was the #1 seed in the tournament. Dayton was #3. (Davidson was #2.)
So again, what a great effort by our team this year.
