The boys aren't backing down. BA and JBIV combined 1-10, 12.5% from 3 from the team, and VCU got to the line 15 times and yet we're only down 3. Rest of the guys have stepped up. Refs need to put the whistles away though as it's killing any kind of momentum either team has/can get.

Dean and Lindo are going to pretty much have to play the entire 2nd half with Brown in major foul trouble. Let's see if Bishop and Adams can put together one more show to remember at the Smith Center.

All in all a pretty solid first half.  Offense broke down once all our bigs were in foul trouble (understandable), but the defense and rebounding remained solid.  Hopefully the refs let ‘em play in the second half. 

I don’t know what adjustment Caputo makes at halftime, but we should have a counter ready because VCU coach just said they have to defend the paint better (counter being more space, at least for Max? Or for Adams and Bishop to get a little more two man game going?)

Adams and Bishop are off. Hope they get better in 2nd. Like the assists. And CC switching out Brown on offence and defense. Nice to see a coach adjusting with the circumstances.

Another brutal call by the refs.  We had a clean double team and block and they called a BS foul on Ricky.  Not good.

Our 2 centers now have 4 fouls. Refs really putting the game in their hands. The number of soft fouls that have been called is pretty absurd.

Frontcourt may foul out.
