Another very good get for GW yesterday.
Ty Bevins has a really intriguing long-term combination of perimeter size, passing, feel, & developing skill.
Just the latest example of GW reestablishing their brand in the talent rich DMV.

Very classy commitment video.
Ty thanks a higher power and heaps praise and thanks on his parents, along with family, friends, teammates, other players, coaches who are noted and even the colleges who recruited him.
Extremely humble, decent and talented in producing this video, as well as basketball.
He will get a great opportunity here to develop and use his talents and his stellar attitude to be an important asset both on the court and as a member of the GW community.
Welcome Ty and family to our GW family!

Gwynn Park, now 9-0, is slotted at #16 in the WaPo regional rankings (#5 among public schools). Pretty sure Ty is the leading scorer.

While Bevin's Gwynn Park lost by six to Largo in the state championship on March 5, Largo won the tournament winning their other games by 45, 6, 22, 15 and 14.

Congratulations to Ty on being named second team All-Met for the DC Metro area. By my count, there were only three public school players on the first team, making Ty one of the best public school players in the region. Looking forward to seeing you in a GW uniform.
