Brutal call on Darrin.  Refs have been mostly fine, but the out of bounds call and the foul on Darrin there were sketch.

The difference in this game (aside from our no-show first half, of course) is Delaware is mostly seniors and we are mostly freshmen. I think we are more talented, but the experience deficit is apparent.

Finally got it under 5, and didn’t stop!  Up 3. 

We’ve become the aggressors this half.  Much more physical on both ends.  Really taking it to them.

What a performance by JBIV and Maximus, another block party for Stretch!

What a great win! 

56 points in the second half after a 25 point first half.  As unfocused as we were the first half, we were totally dialed in for the second half. 

Our talent buckled down and overwhelmed their experience. It’s pretty amazing how we let them physically dominate us for the first half and then just took it to them in the second. 

Max with a quiet 24 and 8.  James with another 28 (averaged 25.7 this tourney).  Buchanan with 13 and 8 and some strong defense - what a tourney he had.  Garrett came alive in the second half with 9 (his lowest of the half). Stretch with 5 blocks and 9 boards before fouling out. Benny contributed in the first half. And I thought Jacoi played good d and kept the ball moving to play a key role without filling up the stat sheet.

Very happy to come away with 2 wins.  And the final margin will help out metrics 😂

Before I make any comment on the game, I want to personally call out  and thank Benny for his completely ill-advised shot up 9 with 14 ticks left. On a lark, I threw $80 on the Colonials at -9.5 (+334) as I thought they’d blow out the Hens today. Not a huge payout  ($347.50) but a fun rescue. In true Colonial fashion Benny missed the front end of the one and one to make me sweat it, but he made the second amd Max sealed it with a steal on the in bounds. Made this win even more satisfying. I also predicted 81-70, so pretty good karma for me today. 😂😂. 😔
