Who would you put on GW's alltime "most fun to watch" team? Am fairly certain that we're all going to debate 4 slots as anyone who ever saw Shawnta play and does not select him perhaps ought to find a new sport to watch. Some names that come to mind include:
The explosive scorers: Wilbert Skipper, Kwame Evans, SirValient Brown, Maureece Rice and James Bishop could light it up in a hurry.
The dunkers..Pops was our Mr. SportsCenter. Oscar Wilmington might have been had cameras found their way into the Smith Center when he played.
The shooters from distance. Brian Magid back when the 3 did not exist. Mo Creek defying the odds. Jamison Battle always in an understated manner.
The defensive specialists: Yinka, Patricio. (Not snubbing Shawnta..he's already in)
The all-glue guys..Ellis McKennie, Chris Monroe, Yegor, Mike Hall, Carl Elliott, JR Pinnock, Zeke Armwood, Joe McDonald. Pre-injury Iturbe.
The board legends: JJ Brade, Tony Taylor
Before My Time: Joe Holup, Anyone named Tallent, Jon Feldman, Walt Szczerbiak, Corky Devlin
Others I missed: Sasha Koul, Tyler Cavanaugh, Lasan Kromah, Darren Buchanan, Jr. , Dirkk Surles, Sonni Holland
My fun to watch team: Shawnta, Pops, Rice, Magid, Pinnock
Note That May Only Interest Me: Player efficiency ratings have only been recorded since the 2009-10 season. Jun's first year of college ball landed him as the 5th best GW season based on PER. The top 5 are:
1. Tyler Cavanaugh 2015-16 24.3
2. Tyler Cavanaugh 2016-17 24.2
3. Damian Hollis 2009-10 22.8
4. David Pellom 2011-12 22.7
5. Darren Buchanan 2023-24 22.6
Rounding out the Top 10 are two Patricio Garino seasons plus seasons from Lasan Kromah, Zeke Armwood and Kevin Larsen.

Shawnta, Pinnock, Monroe, Omar Williams, Armwood
Really hard to leave Pops, McKennie, Bob/Pat Tallent, Garino, Kwame and Mike Hall off this list, but frankly I just didn't see enough of Kwame's game to know if he had the same level of athleticism and shithousery that Pinnock thrived on.

Great suggestions, but got to have Dirkk Surles somewhere on the team. It didn't much better than a Surles' steal and a Surles' dunk at the other end of the floor.

I was thinking Surles, too. I will go with Shawnta, Surles, Kwame (forever grateful for his shooting propelling GWU Sweet 16), Pops, and Yinka. Mike Hall is my 6th man choice.

All fun combos.
Would have to include John Holloran who could light it up! Had 38 against Maryland at Cole Field House.
16 for 24 from the field, 6/6 foul shots, 8 assists and 3 steals! Dang
