Considering that just about everyone who responded agreed that they were not inclined to boo him, I think I'd try to cling to some other theory.

No wrath Hugh as you're entitled to your opinion.  Of course, the next thread that I read on this site that is "necessary" will be the first of its kind.

I initiated the thread because I felt there was a great deal of human interest behind Max's return.  Based on the crowd's reaction whenever he checked into the game, I don't feel I was wrong about that.  I was also uncertain as to how he was going to be received.  In fact the more I think about this, the more I am convinced that this is precisely the type of thread that belongs on a fan message board.  Where you present a legitimate question with an answer that can go any one of a number of ways.
