This story is as much about the comPost's continually declining news and sports coverage as much as it's about unhinged and out of control Ed Cooley who threw a half-full water bottle into the crowd at the final buzzer of a home loss to Xavier. You're that unhinged where you throw a water bottle into a crowd? At least he didn't strike an opposing coach in the face in the handshake line.
I discovered there was something wrong with Cooley when I saw him continually riding officials at the GW exhibition game. Game didn't count and Cooley was screaming at officials like it was a tournament game. Maybe he's not as good as a coach as everyone thinks?
Also, it took the Post 10 hours and two story cycles to finally report that Cooley threw the water bottle. For a home city school that played what a 20 minute walk from the comPost's headquarters? What an awful excuse for a fascist friendly news outlet. Even Bari Weiss would be embarrassed by this.

Nailed it.

More to the point, Bari Weiss would refuse to publish since there were no quotes from Georgetown's president, AD or Cooley himself.

Only a one game suspension? And what exactly did Lonergan do ---- oops, forgot you should not bring up that topic or the Delaware game on a thread... ![]()
This should at least be a multi-game suspension.....

Or CNN would have run with the story that Trump deflected the bottle purposely so it hit the kid. Then would have had Russian and Chinese intelligence confirm it.

I wouldn't put it past Trump. If you must insist on Politics, Rising.
