GWAA, you may absolutely not blame yourself for devouring fried chicken from Roy's, let alone free fried chicken while you were a student. So damn good with just a touch of that addictive Horsey sauce.

We have been under achieving for the last decade and are entering our second decade in no better position, having just re-upped a 4th year coach who is batting under .500 in conference play.
I would give anything right now to even get mentioned for a possible NIT bid.
What are we doing about the rest of this season and beyond?
Let's start with Rhode Island. Patricio, Joe and Yuta arent coming back to resurrect this program. CC has to do it.

Come conference time for 4 years, nearly all of Caputo's players regress from earlier in the season and lose their confidence. Not good!

I have a last minute conflict and won't be able to use my 3 tickets for the game tonight. If any of you need extra tickets send me a private message and I can transfer them to your email or phone number

I think this is the biggest concern, especially because more and more any bid will likely come from winning the conference tournament.

Great start. 4 strong defensive possessions with 4 bad shots from URI (and 4 defensive rebound). And scoring in 3 offensive possessions, all with assists from Jean.
Keep it up.

Great first half. Something tells me we either win by 20 or lose it again at the buzzer…

Has Hunger been told he’ll get benched if he dunks?

Great defensive. Rhode Island really disjointed without Tripp. We’re not really giving them any good shots.
Offense has been ok. Slow paced game (30 possessions, so 34 points is ok, not great).
Need to be ready for them to make offensive adjustments in 2H to try to get better shots.

Be honest DC. You root for the Jets or the Sabres? Yer not wrong but that’s serious scar tissue talking

Are there really only 20 students in the student section ? looks like it on TV (and it doesn't help that the fans in URI's "family and friends" seats behind their bench are empty). I imagine discourse on URI's board is similar to discourse here during the Duques game...

Worse. I’m a longtime Redskins/Football Team/Commanders fan, lol.

Its pretty empty, but there are some students in the upper section as well, for some reason.

George Mason down 49-29 at the half to Richmond. What the what?!?
They’ll be nice and angry coming to GW Friday.

How did the Tonic trivia get the A10 founding question wrong? The announcer said it was 1986 when there is even a banner here in the arena that says 50 years of the A-10.

Let's go!!!

Inside of 5 minutes and we started it by missing a wide open three and two tap ins, a front end of a one and one, and a turnover when we had a layup but overpassed.
I thought, here we go ago again, but a couple of steps and a couple of made layups righted the ship.
And now Woo makes two big FTs to get it back to 10.

Horrible missed call. CLEAR travel.

I can’t believe URI didn’t pressure the ball until under a minute left and yet we did! We didn’t win a nail biter, but it was close-ish. Very well done!

Who-hoo!
We did just enough down the stretch to hold it off. Hopefully that gives them confidence they can close.
Now to get ready for an angry Mason on Friday after Richmond spanked them tonight.
