Yes. Not as good as we might have hoped.
He was listed as No. 88 on the roster, but played as No. 18.
Saw 1 FT out of 2 and a missed layup, fumbled pass. May have missed some scoring, though.
Seemed to understand positioning better than his teammates whom he tried to direct at times, but no one played intelligently as one might expect.
Castro picked and rolled regularly, but didn't get the pass. Bit more traffic than usual.
Castro, of course, made a few excellent passes.
But in general, his teammates ignored his considerable talents, mostly trying to show off theirs.
On defense, for some reason (switching at times, but he'd be used to that) he often wound up guarding
smaller players.
They also got their butts beat in the game for what it's worth, which is presumably not much.
Hopefully there's another game today--and his clueless teammates will realize that Castro's considerable talents can help them win--or at least avoid embarrassment.

Rafael Castro was workin’! He recorded 11 PTS, 7 REB on day 1, and 8 PTS, 4 REB on day two of AWS Combine. The @gw_mbb alum hit a 36.5” max vertical jump and landed a spot at AWS NBA Combine!

Doesn't "landed a spot at the NBA combine" mean his performance at the G League combine?
Hopefully, I missed some better minutes for Castro in the actual NBA combine first game I saw.
But it was not like that. According to box score for first game posted, he had 3 points (1-2) , 5 rebounds in close to 19 minutes. Blame lack of scoring on selfish teammates, not Rafael.
From box score second day, Castro was 2-5, apparently got to the line some for 5-6 FT, 9 pts, 7 rebounds in 21 minutes plus. Teammates presumably seeing what an asset Castro is after spurning his known
abilities the first game.
