Hanging in there, though it seems wheels are about to come off.
Armel dribbling 28 seconds and someone taking a rushed shot, though we've been likely has
not been a good look this year and may not win the game.
Need a couple of bodies on Toppin. Two big men, preferably including Toro. He's quick, but cna be slowed down a bit. Gotta do something

announcers on a day when we are greatly exceeding expectations.

Obi is a beast. Guys just need to realize that alley-oops don't count extra.
Oops don't count extra but they are the fastest way to score (when you convert them).

This is turning into Obi Toppin's personal highlight reel!! When he is selected in the upcoming NBA draft and he's walking across the stage to shake the NBA commissioners hand, they will show at least 4 dunks from this game alone!!

Had sound off. What was Shawn's latest turnover? Didn't see it clearly. JC seems puzzled.
2) Dayton is just showing off now, And we let Toppin just do what he wants 1 on 1.
3) Javi plays a fair amount at Dayton and doesn't sniff the court a number of other games.
Arnaldo and Mezie don't sniff the court at all. .Adam in way too late.

25 point loss. Actually much closer than I thought it would be. Played well into the second half. Talk about a talent gap.

Ending up in the play in games is a pretty big choke job considering where we were. While we won two more conference games than last, my immediate feeling is this was still a disappointment.

So prior to the game the coaching staff had previously announced that we will not play zone. During the game it was apparent that they did not teach how to play against the zone. Many long distant shots with no chance of falling. Failure to double team Toppin is baffling. I believe we will lose to Fordham for the third time. But we are consoled. It is the journey that counts we are told. With the next game in Brooklyn, the journey may be by trains ,planes or automobiles.

They just showed that GW is playing St.Joe's in the 11-14 play-in game, that can't be right. Maybe the standings they looked at has Fordham ahead of St.Joe's based on alphabetical order. Also, the Dayton announcers seem to foreshadow Dayton losing in semifinals when talking about what Dayton needed to do to secure a 1 seed.
Agree GW0509, GW had some VERY winnable games at home against Fordham and La Salle. The possibility of GW's season ending with a 3rd loss to Fordham is terrible!!
