2016 GW NIT on ESPNU
For those interested, ESPNU is showing GWs final two games in the 2016 NIT Tournament at 2:00pm EDT and 4:00pm EDT.

I still have the NIT games on my DVR. Hopefully I'll need to delete these over the next couple of years to make room for some just as memorable future GW victories.

Biggest thing that sticks out to me is just how much harder guys like TyCav, Yuta, Mitola etc. are playing compared to what we've seen the last few years. Obviously context is important (this is the NIT semi-final) but look at how guys are diving for the ball and going up for rebounds.

While watching our glory years, reminded how we regularly beat BCS teams back then. Big East, ACC, Big10, SEC. Regardless of who we were playing, I always thought we had a shot to win if we could keep it close until halftime when coach would earn his paycheck and make the appropriate adjustments.
Now, I have to watch us lose to teams like Howard. Who would have thought. FU Knapp and Nero!

To be fair, we beat Howard. Your point can be made by substituting American, Morgan State, or Fordham three times.
