Instead of discussing worst loss ever such as Iowa and on and on, how about best loss ever.
Easy, 1993 Sweet Sixteen loss to Michigan, 72-64.
Despite defeat, the game brings back many nice memories of great Colonials. After missing first 10 shots and falling way behind, watch Jarvis, change strategy and use a deep bench to get back in the game. In case you have forgotten, Dare had his worst game ever, 0 points. 5 rebounds and 3 turnovers. Evans off the bench was at his best. Interesting mention by Billy Packer that Jarvis benched Evans for not playing defense earlier in the season.

Michigan went up 10-0, I believe, and Jim Nantz all but declared the game over. GW went up by 3 in the second half but couldn't finish off The Fab 5.
What was the second best loss? Maybe the double overtime loss to Georgetown during the 1980-81 season? Five point loss to 17th ranked Gonzaga in the BB&T?
