Of course, Mike Hall is one of my all-time favorite players at GW!!! I hope that the program can find a way to get him on the bench.

BC, thank you for posting the article. I feel it was really good. And, Russianthistle, I would also like it if GW would hire Mike. I think he'd be a real asset!

I'm assuming if Mike Hall wants to get into coaching, he'd lean towards joining his former GW coaches and teammate at Rutgers. Pikiell, Hobbs and TJ Thompson probably have a spot waiting for him when he retires. I'm guessing that Jamion Christian would hire too since M.Hall was an all-time GW great, but he probably has very strong ties with the Rutgers trio who were with him during his playing days at GW. Mike Hall has regularly tweeted about GW basketball through the years, so it looks like he's still a fan/follower of GW basketball.

Thomas, I hadn't realized that TJ Thompson was also at Rutgers. It would make sense for Mike to strongly consider joining them, should there be an opportunity for him there. However, I think it would be great to see Mike at 22nd and F coaching under the guidance of JC.

In addition to being an enormously talented player, Mike may very well possess my favorite personality of anyone who has ever worn a GW uniform. Young players would be tremendously excited to play for him.

Gwmayhem, I'm glad you posted this because it would be great to have Mike helping to recruit great players to GW. I feel that if I were a young player, I would very much enjoy playing for a team where the coaches included JC and MH. They are both great people who know and love basketball!

Mike was a real leader who was very intense. He was always at 100%. I remember I attended a practice and the ball went out of bounds. Not paying much attention I passed the ball back to the closest player who was not on Mike's team. He looked at me and said why did you throw it him - he knocked the ball out of bounds. Should have thrown it to me.Like I said he gave 100% all the time. Will make a great coach.
