GW lost to Hampton
What you see is what you get.
Tonight we saw GW outplayed, outsmarted, outdefended and outrun by Hampton. This will forever be etched in the collective memory as the "Missed dunks game", with Paar and Moyer making one wish for the time in basketball history when dunking was illegal.
Lest we lose sight of the big picture: Hampton stinks, came in to this game without having played this season and tried as hard as it could to give GW the win with a plethora of unforced turnovers to start the 2nd half.
Insofar as years go, 2020 has fallen on the "no good, stinky poo poo" end of the spectrum, and tonight´s showing by GW does nothing to reduce that.

Not the way we wanted to make the national headlines - "heavily favored GW loses a "buy" game on home court".
Hard to believe we won our 1st post season tourney in school history less than 5 years ago.
