He was. He has transferred twice (sat out a year once).

I believe this was mentioned elsewhere but it's worth reiterating. We'll see how things play out but La Salle winning at Dayton may turn out to be the most shocking conference result of the season. Granted the whole home team advantage concept has been diminished this season due to Covid, but the Explorers winning this game anywhere is a huge surprise.

Dayton is definitely not as good as years past thus far. Probably took La Salle somewhat lightly. Dayton has played 6 games, all of which have been very close. The margins of wins have been by 3,6, 3 and 3. The losses have been by 2 each. Granted they have played some decent games - SMU, Mississippi and Mississippi State. But they have struggled with Northern Kentucky and Eastern Illinois.

No A-10 games today, but there is an interesting back story to a matchup involving a local team.
#16 Michigan at Maryland 8 ESPN - Michigan was able to sign 2 top 100 D.C. area freshmen in Hunter Dickinson(DeMatha) and Terrence Williams(Gonzaga), both players are kind of taking shots at Mark Turgeon by claiming that Maryland didn't recruit them. There seems to be some dispute about that as Maryland supposedly offered Dickinson during his sophomore year at DeMatha. Maryland is claiming that neither player was interested, and some of their fans are claiming that Michigan coach Juwan Howard put them up to this and it's wrong. Dickinson is playing very well as a freshman and may be one of the top freshman in the country

Anyone see Davidson and Richmond on the 30TH? Man if GW could play that well they would be nothing left to post about.

Utah was down 2 with 3 seconds left. Pelle Larson drives into the lane and with 1 second left, stops instead of shooting, pivots and looks for someone to pass to but there’s no one so he just throws it to someone on UCLA to end the game. It was worse than Bishop’s 35 foot air ball and probably worse than the blown play they ended with Sloane getting stripped.

Charlotte nearly knocked off a very good Western Kentucky team that has a lottery pick center in Charles Bassey and some quality perimeter players. They led almost the whole game, and were up 1 with 2 minutes to go before WKU pulled it out.

VCU had paused it's basketball season due to Covid.
I'm not sure if this will affect our game on the 13th.

Charlotte beat Davidson earlier this year by 11, so losing to them may not be as bad as the other 5 losses. With VCU pausing their season, Is there any chance that the A10 will switch games around to fill the void? I believe the Big East did this with a Georgetown-UConn game, they had St.John's replace UConn. I'm seeing that UMass-St.Louis is also postponed. Did St.Louis have to pause their season in recent days? UMass played a few days ago against George Mason.

Dayton just lost to Fordham by 1. Had a chance to win it at the end but Watson missed the shot.

The Dude, you're right, Rutgers was ranked #14, they've lost a close game vs Iowa that day and lost by 20+ to Michigan State last night, but the Big 10 is probably the deepest conference in the country. Rutgers could still stay in the top 25 despite the losses.
Good for Fordham, it was looking as if they would go winless in conference after getting blown out by GW and La Salle. Davidson won at Duquesne, 61-48, Duquesne jumped out to an early 7 or 8 point lead and looked like the superior team but they played terribly in the 2nd half. Davidson does have a sort of a Big 3 with Hyunjung Lee, Kellen Grady and Carter Collins, I believe all of them are averaging 15-18PPG.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but MoJo is now an assistant at George Mason. Also, it looks like George Mason is allowing fans in the stands. Their message board had a link to VCU's board and a VCU poster said he was able to get tickets to the game, I thought he was joking but apparently George Mason is allowing fans. Is the state of Virginia allowing fans at sporting events? Do they have loose COVID restrictions?
