Mixed results by the teams in an early meet.  Women look like they will perform well in A-10 after mid pack finish at the Mount meet.  Men will need a rebuilding year since most of their team are new to cross country

It deserves mentioning that Suzanne Dannheim won the Mason Invitational, and the women came in 2nd overall.  Margaret Coogan was 6th and Mariah Moro came in 7th in that race.  Richmond was 1st overall by just 3 points. The A10 Championship should be interesting.

The men placed 4th overall with Jack Conlon placing 9th in their race.

Good stuff.

The team's next race is October 5th at the Paul Short Run.

Great day.

The women had the best A10 Championship finish in program history by coming in 2nd.
Suzanne Dannheim came in 2nd overall.  Wow.
Margaret Coogan (5th) and Mariah Moro (15th) also made All-Conference along with Dannheim.

Almost all of our men are freshman, so it's going to be great watching them progress over the next three years.
James Glockenmeier came in 25th, the 3rd best for all of the freshman (all schools) who ran in the race.  Good stuff.

Suzanne Dannheim wins the 5000m and breaks the school record by 23 (!) seconds at the Patriot Games this weekend.  A total of 3 school records were broken at the meet.
