Am cautiously very optimistic.  FQ mentioned Pato 2 and that's the half glass full take.  If you'd like a half glass empty take, Benny Schroeder is still very fresh in my mind.  And like Benny, Dayan has not been as healthy a player as one would ideally like.

That said, anytime you read scouting reports that speak to court vision and understanding angles, these descriptions are normally reserved for guys who "get" the concept of team basketball and know how to excel by among other things, helping their teammates get better.  Hard to know what to expect from someone this young stepping in right away but the Garrett injury certainly does create viable possibilities.

This is a good signing with the potential to be a great one.

Good news and what certainly seems to be a good late get for CC,
Hope in addition to his other skills, Dayan hits the boards. Has that inclination in some
stats I've seen.
In any case, this is a great basketball and educational opportunity for him if he works hard, stays healthy and continues to be a team player.
Welcome Dayan and family to our GW family!

Poog said it, not me.  But I like it.

Can’t wait to see him in action.

My apologies to Poog for the mix-up.  I believe in giving credit when it is due.
