"Not a big name in college at George Washington"?!?!?!?
With the game´s best player rotting in a gulag after getting caught allegedly carrying a schedule 1 narcotic through an airport, perhaps JJ proves an able spokesperson for the league, I certainly hope she does.

JJ with two huge FTs to tie the game with 11 seconds left in the 4th. Ionescu missed her 2 FTs and JJ got the rebound and got fouled. She's had a great game and she's so clutch. Has played great D down the stretch as well

Congratulations to JJ and the Liberty for winning their first WNBA title!

She was a vital part of their run and averaged 17.8ppg, 7.6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in the best of 5 finals.

JJ also awarded finals MVP! What a career for her.

I think there's a pretty good argument she's the most successful GW professional athlete of all time, not just basketball player

You could certainly make that arguement, although a certain Mr Auerbach (Class of ´41) won a few more rings. Of course, he did not have her scoring and rebounding stats.

Not much argument to be made here if the debate is Professional Athlete.  Red was obviously the GOAT Coach/Exect of the sport, no argument there either

For Pro Athlete, its Jonquel Jones, this resume can't be topped by any other GW grad to date:
