While GW's Nov. 3 home contest against Maine will likely be a 7:00 pm start, there will be plenty of opportunity to watch the sport's opening day, including two future GW opponents, earlier in the day.  It's hard to believe that ESPN's round-the-clock marathon of college hoops last took place nearly 10 years ago in 2016.

This year's version will feature six games at two venues, produced by Jeff Goodman's and Rob Dauster's Field of 68.  I suspect the games will be available to stream only, and am hopeful that fans will not be asked to pay for the privilege of tuning in.  Their plans are to get to a 24 hour marathon but not quite yet.  As for this year, here is the lineup:

8:00 am       Queens vs. Winthrop (at Rock Hill, SC)
11:00 am      Bradley vs. St. Bonaventure (at Rock Hill, SC)
1:30 pm       Murray State vs. Omaha (at Sioux Falls, SD)
4:00 pm       Drake vs. Northern Arizona (at Sioux Falls, SD)
6:30 pm      High Point vs. Furman (at Rock Hill, SC)
9:00 pm      South Dakota State vs. Merrimack (at Sioux Falls, SD)

Nice tip of the hat to the mid-major and lower-level programs.

One week from today...the Opening Day Marathon will be available on The Field of 68 Youtube Channel and its X.com feed.  If you'd like to scout two GW opponents this season, you'll get the Bonnies at 11:00 am along with Murray State at 1:30 pm.

Just because you revived this thread, I want to point out that the Maine - GW game is at 8 pm. Not the usual 7 pm start.
