Am going to assume that the offer he wanted did not materialize. Smart move. Tear it up in junior college, gain the attention of recruiters at schools that you envision yourself being effective at, and end up playing at such a school (not to mention getting a degree at said school). Shawn struck me as a very interesting player in that he brings certain attributes that a major program could certainly use yet his weaknesses were a bit too transparent. Hopefully, he improves upon those weaknesses to the point where he ends up playing where he would truly like to play.
