Its win and advance now.  It doesn't need to be pretty, but it also doesn't need to be that ugly.

DMV, you put together the best summaries.  I am going to the game today, and it always makes me feel unsettled.  I have watched games where GW hasn't scored more than a handful of points deep into first half.  Hopefully today will be different.  This will be my first shot at seeing the team live, but my observations, so far give me some confidence.  Mainly there is a "never give up" mentality with this team.  In past few years when things started going bad it seemed our guys couldn't stop the freefall.  This year, even in losses, there hasn't been a game where the team didn't fight until the end.  

The strategy at the end was unexpected.  I think CC gets the benefit of the doubt, he has everyone playing well when they need a big moment.  Although I could use a little less stress watching.

That was a great win, the team didn't fade after the marathon against Fordham.  Bishop.... unbelievable.  This team has something special let's hope it continues.

A little sloppy, but the used the bench, and got a win.

Who would have thought... beat the spread but the under won.  

DMV, I was debating in my mind that last paragraph.  It probably would be better to get a good challenge before conference play.  Admittedly, I am not well versed in the rankings, but I assume Navy is the best team left OOC.  The balance is not crushing the spirit of freshman and new players, but we need to get better continuously.  Given our resent history Fordham is the next measuring stick game, and at VCU will tell us a lot.

Well, it wasn't pretty, but we stepped up in opponent weight class.  Were severely tested late in regulation, and still won.  This is definitely a different team from the recent past and should give us reasons for optimism this year.

Apparently, they just woke up.

Its early in the season, but this doesn't look like 3 guys and no depth, it looks like we may have a competitive team.  This year has some promise, but its again its early.
