In ML's case, whatever less than ideal behavior he demonstrated was prompted by the words and actions of a despicable human being, one that the school initially chose to back instead of him.
Really?

Justin Moore from Drexel (all-CAA) transferring to Loyola (Chi). Another get for the A10.
I will say, a lot of the players moving already are guards. It’s going to be a real challenge to get quality big men because they are so in demand. LaSalle landed a post player from Penn St , who was little used. No idea if that’s a good get for them or not, but I’m hopeful we can land someone a bit more accomplished.
We could/should set our sights outside of the US for some big-man talent.

Virginia Tech - GW - Oklahoma - VCU.
That's a bit much for any ballplayer. Think of the amount of scholarship money he has received from these four schools.
Take away scholarship money and make it all NIL and I would have no problem with the fluidity.

Talk about winning ugly! It was almost painful to watch. The offense was almost non-existent, with most point coming from the defense, and the turnovers were intolerable?

Saw that it was a 2pm afternoon game. Is there a specific reason? I know the women’s team has had “Middle School” games in the past. The women’s game starts at 11am same day.
Intended to be a "fly-out" game for the players of both squads, allowing to get home for the holidays

We are 9 and 2 yet according to ESPN there were only 1200 people at the game. Why is that? Smith Center only seats 5000, we should be able to pack it with rabid fans
The problem is not on the student side. It's on the ticket-buying side.

I didn't understand the statement "in front of a packed "Miracle on 22nd Street" crowd. Attendance was a very disappionting 1,869, or to put it another way, the Smith Center was 63% empty. Now that it looks like we have a quality product on the Court, I hope the fanbase returns, because it does not appear to have happened yet.
The majority of the empty seats were on the season ticket side of the court. The Navy seats section was also empty. The students have been supportive thus far.

Reminder that Towson's head coach is a former GWU women's basketball assistant coach - Laura Harper - under Jen Rizzotti. Her dad was a former GW men's basketball player - Havriland Harper.

Reminder, before they lost last year to FDU in the NCAAs, they lost the year before to St. Peter's.

2. GW - only thing that can match is location. All other factors fail to match up.
Not a difficult decision. While your point is relevant, for a 1 year rental I don't think this matters as much. Keithgreene has it right, Georgetown cut a bigger check for his services.
Let's give Cooley some credit for out-recruiting CC. I wonder how Maximus feels about this.

GW Men's Hoops » What Prompted This? » 2/15/2023 4:33 pm |
Something transpired during the Richmond game with a courtside-seated fan. One of the officials brought a security guard over during a time-out and specifically pointed out this fan. The security guard had a conversation with the fan and that appeared to be the end of it.
I'm not sure if this was the incident that prompted the letter.

Mike and his wife and family are very religious people. Sometimes your religious beliefs can paint your behaviors. I'm not saying that is the case, just saying it is possible. I've heard from others over the years that Mike had a tendency to press his religious beliefs onto others. He never did it with me, so I can't say that is factual.
