Allegedly pulled a woman out of her car, punched her in the mouth, then pressed his elbow against her throat, pinning her to the side of the vehicle. The woman did not lose consciousness. Police reported fresh scratches on the woman's neck and a swollen lip.
If true, absolutely disgraceful.

If those allegations are true, all I can say is good riddance!

If true, he should never play again. Sometimes subtractions are the best additions, glad he is not affiliated with our program.

We may have lost our “freedom of speech ”, but as far as I know, we still have a “presumption of innocence”., so let’s not convict Max yet. On the other hand, it sure doesn’t look good for him per the article. Can’t imagine a 5th college will take a flyer on him if he is booted from Duquesne., but these days, who knows? He really looked like the real deal after his first year at GW.

Absolutely right LSF, and don't lose sight of the fact that according to the complaint: "Edwards became irate with the woman over the phone due to her following a member of the Duquesne football team on social media."
If the story turns out to be true, at least Max has a defense.

I am really going to hope there is plenty of sarcasm in that post.
The incident as described in the complaint is quite disturbing, and if the allegations are true Max should be in big trouble (of course, if he were in the NFL he would be looking at a 2-4 game suspension, but hopefully society-at-large treats violent crime even by athletes as worthy of actual and more serious consequences).
