Dare I say it-Sometimes Rising is right!

JC has upgraded our talent level immensely, many may not like the way he did it (mostly transfers) but that is the world we live in. Literally the only "regrettable" transfer based on talent is Battle in my eyes. This next season will be, by far, the most talent we have had since the ML days. My question is can JC coach 'em up? Nothing I have seen so far has demonstrated that he can. He has a vision, is very inspiring, creates a family atmosphere, can recruit, etc. But can JC actually effectively coach the Xs & Os of basketball. The excuse of not having "his guys" or "enough talent" is no longer relevant next year.

Excited to say I will be continuing my journey at George Washington University!! @GW_MBB @JamionChristian @GrahamBousley @TwoTwelveSports @avonoldfarms
First impression is he looks a little bit like just a stiff but as they always say you can't teach size. Let's hope he and Noel Brown can get signed up for ballet classes.

This is doesn't seem to be the "transfer" that GWRising was talking about. This is a HS recruit .So maybe more to come?

Correct. Not the guy. Warner is a walk-on.

No shortage of walk-on's . It seems there is no limit on walk-ons but possibly only 15 players can dress for a game
BTW some decent highlights for a walk on

GWRising, I am a bit curious about your stating that a few administrative t's need to be crossed. Am not asking specifically about the player we are waiting on but in general, what does this usually mean? Since the assumption is that there is mutual interest (or you would not have indicated that we will likely have good news soon), are the last few days before a transfer or high school recruit is announced usually about making sure that the player is academically qualified, about the player making sure that there isn't another school out there that he would prefer (as in a player could be contacting another school who has been recruiting him and saying they are about to commit to a different school unless you can let me know right now that there's a spot for me), or might there be other factors that are responsible for delaying an announcement?

Has to provide some required academic documentation being that he is not originally from the U.S. and has been in the U.S. only one year. Assuming that documentation is provided, we should be ok.

Just gonna guess it is Pavlo Dziuba from Arizona State (and originally Ukraine). Went to ASU straight from Ukraine so only has been in US for a year. Basing this only off of what you have said in this post and in previous ones. If it's a D1 transfer, he is only guy who fits your description of him that I found on the 247 transfer portal list.

Well,if so, he can only go upward statewide.
