Re: 2021-22 roster

When did 5'11" become 6'2"?? I'm very skeptical of this one, really hope we're not after this guy. Looks waaay undersized. Also these promotional videos are wack. Lots of the clips are just him making standard passes or playing (average) defense?!

Re: 2021-22 roster

our roster is loaded with Power 5 transfers, more than any GW team in history

Power 5 transfers to GW have essentially, universally succeeded at this level.

Re: 2021-22 roster

I could be wrong but I believe this is a preferred walk-on. So everyone can calm down.

Re: 2021-22 roster

GWRising.. That makes sense.  Interesting flag for the student section if he does indeed walk on

Re: 2021-22 roster

As a walk on certainly fine, though sure hope he is older than he looks in those videos. Great to have another flag. And we could plant our flag in the Uzbekistan hoops recruiting market.
But not at the cost of a scholarship, at least based at least on one or two of the odd and unconvincing videos.

Re: 2021-22 roster

Good luck Matt! Wish we had him for the full season this past year. He really fought hard on the boards every game and gave the team a much needed veteran presence.

Here's a nice interview with him as a guest recently. Really liked how thoughtful his responses were.
