Be on the Lookout
With the WNBA season winding to a conclusion, awards will soon follow and Jonquel Jones is a prime candidate for MVP. She has had a terrific season, leading the league in rebounds, 4th in scoring, and 18 double doubles this year. Wouldn't it be great for GW if (when this happens). The Sun finished with the best record in the W, so I believe she'll get it. Regardless, congratulations to JJ on a GREAT year.

JJ just named AP Player of the Year, by unanimous vote. Actual announcement of WNBA MVP has not been made, but this looks like a good sign.

maybe the wildest part of Jonquel Jones's MVP run is that she literally flew to europe during the middle of the WNBA season to play in eurobasket, put up 6 double-doubles in 6 games & led the league in scoring and rebounding at 24.3 ppg/16.8 rpg
